Sr. Manager of Financial Services: Supervised, coordinated and/or performed general financial
record keeping duties including payroll, purchasing, accounts payable and accounts receivable
in a manner consistent with State regulation and MetroParks fiscal officer’s policies. Maintained
current and accurate accounting records by posting income, cash receipts, encumbrances,
certificates and transfers to ledger accounts and reconciling any differences. Responsibilities
included auditing daily deposits made from various MetroParks locations and supervising
subordinates who do so. Preparation of monthly financial reports for the Board of Park
Commissioners in an accurate and timely fashion and provided accurate and current
expenditure account free balance and cash flow reports and/or projections. Maintained
purchasing records and provided supervision of the organizational purchasing process.
Prepared and filed or oversaw the preparation and filing of Ohio State Sales Tax reports for all
MetroParks enterprise locations. Managed and tracked income and expenses for grants and
special projects and completed and submitted reimbursement documentation and reports in a
timely fashion. Drafted and implemented departmental policies and procedures as necessary to
comply with the Ohio Revised Code, State and Auditor policies, and the need for efficient
operations. Prepared bi-weekly payroll reports for submission to fiscal officer and maintained
current and accurate employee payroll information including leave records and provided
supervision to subordinates who do so.
Visitor Services Technician: Met and dealt with the public in a professional, helpful and
pleasant manner while serving as a goodwill ambassador for MetroParks. Performed reception
duties, answered telephones and directed/routed inquiries and incoming communications to the
appropriate persons, departments or agencies in a timely manner. Disseminated MetroParks
information and otherwise answered routine questions regarding park system facilities and

Duke Realty Corporation/Duke Construction (September 2002 to July 2010)
Executive Administrative Assistant: Assistant to the Vice President of Construction. I also
provided administrative support to the entire Construction department staff of 16 Associates.
Continued construction project duties stated below plus supervision of three Construction
Administrative Assistants which includes conducting performance reviews and salary
appraisals, delegation and coordination of work duties, and striving to achieve the best
performance for the department. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
extensive travel arrangements and itineraries, local fleet truck and construction trailer inventory,
obtaining occupational licenses and business certifications, tracking and coordination of
associate training, departmental audit controls, liaison with reprographics and document
archiving companies.
Administrative Assistant: Administrative Assistant for the Construction department, including

FEMP (Fernald Environmental Management Project) (May 1987 through October 2001)
Fluor Daniel Fernald
Project Control Specialist: Promoted to Project Control Specialist. Responsibilities included
project cost and schedule budgeting and analysis for the Construction Department. Utilized
Primavera project manager and coordinated directly with department heads to keep their project
on schedule and under budget. Performed monthly reconciliation and variance analysis of
project costs. Reported cost and schedule information to the Department of Energy.
Assistant to the Construction Manager: Once the project became an official Government
“clean-up” site, Fluor Daniel was hired as the on-site Construction Manager. RUST Engineering
became the 8a Contractor on site and only retained skilled crafts and a labor force. I was then
hired by Fluor Daniel. I provided administrative and organizational assistance for the
Construction Department, directly reporting to the Construction Manager. Responsibilities
included keeping daily calendars, making travel arrangements, assisting in workforce planning
and budgeting, coordinating and recording progress meetings with his direct reports, tracking
matrices and preparation of reports, spreadsheets and presentations for the Department of
Energy, general correspondence and other duties as directed.
RUST Engineering
Computer Coordinator: I was hired by RUST, the Construction Manager on the Fernald site,
given a promotion and pay raise. I supported the Operations Manager, several Project
Managers and the Technical Review Specialist. Responsibilities included typing and editing of
construction procedures, construction document control, tracking of matrices and reporting
monthly results to the Department of Energy and WMCO, preparation of specifications,
contracts, change orders, meeting minutes and monthly construction progress reports and many
other tasks as directed.
